Things have been hopping here at Cross Propz.

First of all a new model of Cross Propz is in the testing phase right now! We are developing an adjustable set of propz in response to some UCI ruling changes that affect barrier height. So now you can practice at the correct height no matter what it is. And, as Simon Burney says, “adjustable is the future”….well, we are pretty close to arriving at said future!

Lots of people around he are already talking about cross which makes me think that there are some secret practices going on…..I haven’t given up my road bike yet, so its not me! There is other good news that points directly to the growing popularity of the sport and that is that the USGP has landed in Colorado and will be hosting races here in the Ft. Collins area November 13 and 14. That puts the nations top racers right here! All Good! USGP you may remember is headed up by Joan Hanscom who is also part of the group bringing the Cyclocross Worlds to Louisville Kentucky….a MAJOR coup!

With the Tour de France now in full swing, all eyes are on the big show. and what a spectacle! Already there seem to have been way too many crashes, and who brings an unleashed dog to the Tour? I’ll bet the poor animal has absolutely no interest in cycling. After reading Chris Horners’ blog I can just imagine how jittery it gets in that peloton. this one is, after all, for all the marbles.

Well I just wanted to check in and wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July…freedom and independence are totally big deals!

Thanks for reading,

Paul
